Research and University Cooperation in Saudi Arabia

University Cooperation is a fundamental development key for both our countries, France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In accordance with the "Vision 2030" framework led by HRH the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, French and Saudi universities are gathering in order to develop cooperation of excellence.

Cooperation

On a regular basis, Universities’ delegates from both countries are visiting and exchanging with their counterparts, on a wide range of fields: engineering, law, design, vocational training, etc.

France and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement on the 10th of April 2018, aiming at the development of Al-Ula's Governorate. Since 2018, young Saudi students are trained in France to learn French in order then to study in the field of tourism, archeology or agriculture.

France is also a leading country in Health studies. Since the beginning of the Health cooperation program in 2005, more and more Saudi interns are applying to integrate French specialty tracks to benefit from their reputation of excellence.

Lately, University Cooperation between France and Saudi Arabia ranges from Social Sciences to Engineering, Design, Law, Archeology, Hospitality, Professional training, etc.

Campus France offices, open in the main cities of Saudi Arabia, namely Jeddah, Riyadh and Khobar, and their representatives are the disposition of the Saudi students in order to help them find their way into the French Higher educational system.
